The history of this company goes back to June of 1973, when a small family-run business was started by John Merry.
Mr. Merry, a Mechanical Engineer by profession recognized that there was market potential for a company to specialize in Water and Waste Water Treatment both at home and throughout the English-speaking Caribbean.
The company was first named Engineering Agencies Limited (EAL) and in 2007, when Roger Merry, the eldest son of Christopher John Merry took over the leadership, the name was amended to Engineering Agencies (Caribbean) Limited (EACL) to represent the depth of its presence in the region.
Testimony of its growth is seen in the expansion of the staff from a three (3) member staff in 1973 to today having over forty (40) members in its team.
The foresight of Christopher John Merry continues to be seen as the company’s mission to provide Quality Products and Dependable Service is a promise that has stood the test of time.
Ours is a deep-rooted belief in what we do and an unwavering commitment to work hard to get the job done flawlessly.
Similarly, the expertise and the experience has expanded to include amongst the local mechanical engineers, with over fifty (50) years combined experience, who are ably supported by fully trained technicians, welders, fabricators, electricians, draughtsmen, account executives and administrative staff.
We have been working from within for the past forty (40) years, to provide high quality engineered products.
In December 2014, Engineering Agencies (Caribbean) Limited changed the acronym EACL to ENGAGE. ENGAGE is more of a partnership that goes beyond the supply of innovative products. Our name captures the essence of our business. We work with our customers from purchase to installation and servicing of equipment throughout Trinidad and Tobago and the English speaking Caribbean.
